Tours or Slideshows?
ByMy favorite Southwest Chicago Suburbs real estate website has virtual tours for my listings with slideshows. I prefer the slide shows to the “movie” type virtual tours. I now use single property websites that show a photo gallery plus a slideshow, although they call it a virtual tour. The entire website is the “virtual tour” in the MLS.
I do not like the video tours because I feel they still have a long way to go. I see so many that travel too fast and make me dizzy! Others still have that fishbowl look and really distort rooms. I feel a well put-together slide show is the best way to provide a visual home tour.
Of course, the thing I love the best about the website mentioned is the way listings are showcased. It’s the best I’ve seen with any real estate website provider. But the site offers much more.
