Oak Lawn Cold Weather Joke

Brrrrrrrrrrrr! We’ve had a pretty nice winter so far but now I’m realizing why I hate winter! Last night a couple of pipes were frozen so my husband had to go into the crawl space and luckily by banging on some pipes the flow started again.
I’m an optimistic person so the good thing about it is that I was able to buy more frozen items than my freezer can hold since I can store them in my car or garage with these sub-zero temps. Of course, I’m keeping meat products in the freezer but bought some extra bread and frozen fruit items at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods the last shopping trip to each one since I don’t get to them often.
